We're a small team that spends time outside and sells chairs for people who do the same

We're not a manufacturer. We're a retailer — a small one, run by people who actually use this stuff. We find good chairs, test them, and sell the ones we'd recommend to a friend.

Alefadago is an online outdoor gear retailer based in Denver, Colorado. We specialize in one category: folding camping chairs. Single chairs, double chairs, and three-person chairs — built for the kind of outdoor moments that make the rest of the week feel manageable.

We started because we kept running into the same problem. Too many options. Too little honest information. Products that looked great in photos and felt flimsy after two uses. We wanted to fix that — at least for the one product category we actually care about.

Who we are

We're a small team at JAMAL DAWON LLC, operating out of Denver, CO. We're not a big brand or a warehouse operation with hundreds of SKUs. We carry a focused selection of chairs because that's what we know well — and we think knowing your product well matters more than offering everything.

We answer our own customer emails. We handle our own returns. When something goes wrong with an order — and occasionally something does — you're talking to a real person who has the authority to fix it.

How we work — our business model

We're an online retailer. We source chairs from vetted manufacturing partners who meet our standards for materials, weight ratings, and build quality. We don't manufacture anything ourselves, and we don't pretend to. What we do is curate — and stand behind everything we sell.

We find good suppliers

We work with a small number of manufacturing partners we trust. We evaluate their quality control, their materials, and their responsiveness before we carry anything they make.

Step 02

We test what we sell

Before a chair goes on the site, we use it. We sit in it, fold and unfold it repeatedly, and check whether the weight ratings and dimensions match what the manufacturer claims.

Step 03

We write honest listings

Every product page includes actual specs — weight capacity, packed dimensions, frame material, setup time. We note limitations where they exist, because a surprised customer is a frustrated customer.

Step 04

We handle everything after the sale

Shipping from US warehouses. Order tracking on every purchase. Returns within 30 days. And if something arrives damaged or wrong, we make it right — no long back-and-forth required.

Why we think outdoor time matters

We're not going to overclaim this. We sell chairs, not wellness programs. But we do believe — from experience — that time spent outside is genuinely good for people. Not in a vague, aspirational way. In a practical, measurable way.

Studies consistently show that spending time in natural environments reduces stress hormones, lowers blood pressure, and improves mood. You don't need a research paper to feel it, though. Most people know it already — they just don't do it enough, because life gets in the way.
