Payment Methods
We keep checkout simple. Alefadago currently accepts PayPal as our payment method for all orders. Here is everything you need to know before you buy — how payment works, what happens after you pay, and how your information is protected.
Accepted payment method
We currently accept the following payment method:
- PayPal — available for all orders shipped to the contiguous United States.
We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, bank transfers, or cash at this time. All transactions are processed through PayPal's secure payment platform.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay using PayPal's guest checkout option, which allows you to pay with a credit or debit card without creating an account. Look for the "Pay with a card" or "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option on the PayPal payment screen during checkout.
How checkout works
- Step 1 — Add your chair to the cart and proceed to checkout.
- Step 2 — Enter your shipping address and review your order summary.
- Step 3 — Select PayPal as your payment method and click the PayPal button.
- Step 4 — You will be redirected to PayPal to log in or pay as a guest. Complete payment on PayPal's secure page.
- Step 5 — You will be returned to our site and receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes.
Your order is not confirmed until PayPal has successfully processed the payment and you receive a confirmation email from us.
Purchase information
Once your payment is complete, here is what to expect:
- Order confirmation email — sent to the email address associated with your PayPal account or entered at guest checkout, usually within a few minutes of purchase.
- Order processing time — we prepare your order for shipment within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed.
- Shipping confirmation email — sent once your order has shipped, including your tracking number.
- Estimated delivery — 5 to 7 business days after your order ships. Total estimated delivery time is 6 to 10 business days from the date of purchase.
- Shipping cost — standard shipping is free on all orders to the contiguous United States. No minimum order required.

Payment security
All payments are processed through PayPal's secure platform. PayPal uses SSL encryption and is compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Your financial information is handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card number or bank details.
Our website uses HTTPS throughout, including on all checkout and order pages. Your personal information is protected in transit at all times.
Pricing and charges
- No hidden fees — the price shown at checkout is the final amount you pay.
- No restocking fees — returns are accepted within 30 days with no deductions for restocking.
- No subscriptions — this is a one-time purchase. We do not enroll you in any recurring billing.
- Sales tax — applicable sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address, as required by law.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to your original PayPal account or the card used during guest checkout. Refunds are processed within 1 to 3 business days after your return is received and inspected. It may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

Common questions about payment
Can I pay without a PayPal account?
Yes. PayPal offers a guest checkout option that allows you to pay with a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card without creating or logging into a PayPal account. Select "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" on the PayPal screen during checkout.
My payment did not go through. What should I do?
If your PayPal payment was declined or did not complete, your order will not be placed. Check with PayPal to confirm the issue, then try again. If you continue to have trouble, contact us at support@alefadago.com and we will help.
I was charged but did not receive a confirmation email.
First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find the confirmation email, contact us at support@alefadago.com with your PayPal transaction ID and we will look into it.
Can I change or cancel my order after paying?
We process orders quickly. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at support@alefadago.com. Orders can be cancelled before they enter fulfillment. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled but you can request a return after delivery.
